| The
membership consists of a variety of people from
all walks of life, such as businessmen,
professionals, homemakers, etc. While the
original intent of the club was to focus on
topics of ethics, religion, and the spiritual, a
rundown of a currently monthly speakers schedule
shows, in fact, a lively mix of contemporary
topics that range from current events, to
sports, to travelogues, to modern technologies.
Invitation...
The Compass Club
extends a cordial welcome to anyone who would
like to meet new friends, share meals with
interesting people, and enjoy stimulating
programs. There are no dues or registration
fees. The club may be one of the few
organizations in the country that survives by
way of a small donation at each meeting to
defray costs such as the speakers' meals. There
is an annual “financial roll call” which is
an appeal for voluntary contributions to finance
the mailing of a monthly calendar and other
expenses.
In addition to
the several groups which meet weekly in various
parts of the Toledo area, there is also a
monthly evening meeting. If you are interested
in more information about the Compass Club,
contact any of the Officers listed or mail:
